The first ever program of its kind to be Nationally Accredited and Endorsed by the Curriculum Council, the Developing Social Skills Program is an important opportunity for students (13-17 years) to develop social skills that will assist them to apply appropriate business and social behavioural standards in life in general, but more specifically in the transition from education to employment.
These include such things as positive internal dialogue, the ability to recognise, make, and keep positive relationships, interact with diverse groups, develop an understanding of the importance of empathy and the ability to recognise hidden emotions in others. Practical training also includes social facility within social groups unfamiliar to them and in business environments.
