The Employment Advantage can be completed entirely online from any computer. How long it takes the students to complete the program depends on their level of English literacy. Feel free to contact Image Power to discuss your cohort's needs. A Classroom Companion can be made available to students to support the online program.

Everything is provided for teachers to deliver and assess the program.  There is no marking as the quizzes and tests are marked instantly online.  Teachers that wish to use the Classroom Companion will need to assess the work completed and some assistance with the resume proforma may be required.

The program is available from the site in an audio format for those students who need assistance with learning and literacy. In these cases, teachers may need to assist such students with reading the questionnaires.

Students who complete The Employment Advantage will be able to print out a uniquely numbered accredited certificate which is proof that the program has been completed correctly, and that the learning outcomes have been achieved. This allows the teacher to apply to the Curriculum Council of Western Australia for three points on the WACE. 

The students also receive a professional resume, a sample covering letter and letter of introduction.  They also receive lists of words and phrases to use when tailoring resumes and letters.

The Employment Advantage enables teachers to focus on students that need attention while allowing those students that are computer savvy and prefer to work independently to take responsibility for completing the program.  There is no marking or assessments to be completed as the program monitors progress and ensures that students cannot move forward through the program, or receive a certificate of completion, unless they achieve the outcomes needed to attain a pass.

Teacher training in this program is around 15 minutes.  Teachers are also provided with an access code to complete the program if they wish.

The program is usually $45 per student with a minimum of 20 students. Alternatively, schools can buy a 200 student access licence for $1900.  Both options are for one year.

Students are allowed six attempts at passing a test or questionnaire. If a student fails the first attempt, they are locked out from re-attempting a quiz for 10 minutes. This encourages students to absorb the material carefully. If a student fails the second and subsequent attempts, they are locked out of quizzes for 6 hours.

All questions are changed each time a student re-sits a questionnaire.

There are many online resources on finding a job, creating a resume or attending an interview. Although, the Employment Advantage program is the first in the world to provide an online and structured, step by step solid foundation in the processes needed to find employment in any situation.
